This year’s handmade costumes for the kids
25 OctTheo will be a candy corn, I made some sort of “sleeper bag” with 3 colors of fleece and some snaps in the back. It’s still in between 85 and 90 right now, so if the temperature doesn’t go down a little by this weekend, I’m not sure he’ll be able to wear it for long…

Gabe is going to be a dinosaur skeleton. Or as he would say, a skeleton dinosaur. I stitched a green suit from scratch, without a pattern, but it seems to fit well. I glued on some felt bones. You can’t see the back of the costume on these pics, but there is also a long tail “just like a T-Rex”. :)

Hello Kitty matching game in my store – Check it out!
15 Oct

I try to pay a lot of attention to details. Each set comes with its own Hello Kitty cotton fabric pouch. The back of each tile is stamped with a Hello Kitty image :)

This might be one of our favorite picture of Theo yet. You can not imagine the happiness caused by a simple helio balloon. Both for Gabe and Theo! This picture captures Theo so well, it almost brings tears to our eyes :)

Wooden Halloween flash cards for Gabe
13 OctI just made this little memory game / flash cards for Gabe, with a Halloween theme. I was going to wait for Halloween to give it to him, but I didn’t have the patience :)

I found some Halloween clip art on line, and also got some natural wood tiles

I cut out the little guys to fit on the tiles

Tiles drying

The game is ready to go!

Gabe loves memory games

I also stitched a little Halloween pouch to store the tiles, and voila!
