This might be one of our favorite picture of Theo yet. You can not imagine the happiness caused by a simple helio balloon. Both for Gabe and Theo! This picture captures Theo so well, it almost brings tears to our eyes :)

Already! Where does time go?! At 6 months, he’s already rolling over and sitting. Sometimes going from sitting to belly, springing himself forward. Eating carrots, sweet potatoes, avocado, apples, pears, peaches, cereal, bananas. Tried peas but definitely not a fave so far. And we just got started on meat. Also still 100% BF, I’m very proud :)
His 6 months stats: 26in long, 18lbs4oz, head circ 44cm. He’s “smaller” and lighter than Gabe at the same age! But very healthy :)

He’ll sit for a good 5 minutes before he happily tips over, hence the crowd of pillows all around him. Where he’ll fall is unpredictable :)

He rolled over and found himself in the middle of the train tracks!
This week was rich in milestones!
First of all Theo is mastering rolling over, and now he’s just constantly on his belly, which means that he’s up at night more because he rolls over while sleep but doesn’t know how to get on his back again and he gets very upset. Not fun for us, but this too shall pass…
Our other milestone is solid food! I kind of started a little last week, and now he’s chunking down a couple of bowls of rice cereal daily. Nom nom nom.
Today, Aug. 10th at 18 weeks and 4 days. He’d been working on it for about 10 days!
Time flies! Our little man is so big already! Such a sweet baby, always happy, always charming, always smiling. He melts my (our) heart(s) every. single. day.
Theo’s got to be the sweetest of all babies. Now that he’s pain-free, his true temperament is revealed and it is as I first imagined. He’s just the mellowest, kindest, calmest angel you could ever want. In his awake time, he will sit with us sometimes for a full hour just hanging out and smiling. He smiles so much right now! It’s as if he understands everything we tell him. If I smile, I always get a smile back. Melts my heart. Gabe makes him so happy too! Theo sure loves being around his big brother! This baby is just pure joy. Even if he doesn’t sleep at night :P

I just downloaded this app on my iPhone after eye bowling it for a few days. It’s pretty awesome, it allows you to chose from different kind of lenses, flashes and rolls, to create old fashioned, vintage, used-like pictures. I took a few of Theo and I love them! What a great app!
